Leon is senior IT-auditor in the Oversight Department of De Nederlandsche Bank, the central bank of the Netherlands, and he is currently focusing on the resilience and continuity of the financial sector. He is vice-president of IFIP, the IFIP General Assembly member for the Dutch Computer Society (NGI) and the past chair of IFIP Technical Committee 11 on the Security and Protection of Information Processing Systems. He was an ISC member for WITFOR 2003 and program chair for WITFOR 2007.

Chrisanthi is interested in the way the implementation of information systems is associated with organisational innovation. In particular, she studies the processes of information systems and organisational change in developing countries and in the government sector. She is also interested in government policies for the Information Society and the Information Economy. She has contributed to previous WITFORs in commissions and as a speaker.

Member Finances

Chris has an interest in computer architecture, computer operating systems, information security, computer education and the computing profession. Chris is active in computer education research, running a project to identify student expectations and perceptions on entry to first year bachelor programs in IT. Chris has research interests including the application of computer technology to commercial data processing, telecommuting, home oriented information technology, the provision of personal privacy via technical means, electronic support for teaching, network security and mobile computing.

Mr. Nath is an Inlaks Scholar (2000-1), London School of Economics. He holds 2 Masters Degree, one in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics (UK) and the other in Natural Resources Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (India). Mr. Nath is the Founder of two Information Technology for Development initiatives: http://www.DigitalGovernance.org and http://www.KnowNet.org that are aimed at catalysing good governance in developing countries through strategic use of knowledge and technology, and creating a peer group of developing countries practitioners to foster South-South learning's. In addition, he founded the DevNetJobs.org Portal which is an electronic gateway for jobs and consulting opportunities in the international development sector. Mr. Nath has worked in over 30 countries, including in USA, Europe, Eastern Europe and CIS, Middle East, and Central and South Asia on a range of projects on application of information technology in agriculture, small and medium enterprises, public sector reforms, good governance and rural development. At present, he works as Knowledge Management Specialist with South Centre (an inter-governmental organization) in Geneva. Between July 2001 - March 2003, Mr. Nath worked as Policy Analyst with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York. During this time he was involved in research on provision and financing of public goods including Internet and the Global Communications Network. Prior to that he worked with the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, as a technical adviser on Agenda 21 and Environment and Sustainable development issues.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao graduated from Ha Noi University in 1981 major in Pedagogical Foreign Languages and post-graduated (Master of Art degree) from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia in 1996, major in Communication Management. Up to now, she has been Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department - Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC). She is in charge of the IT and External Economic sections in the Department. She also facilitates the process of building the Government Information Network, e-Gov efforts, ICT development in the country as well as finds fund and resources for ICT Human Resources Development to better serve the state management and regulatory functions of related Departments in MIC. She has participated in drafting IT law framework; seeking foreign assistance/resources for these endeavours and has organized high and middle levels exchange visits among ICT administrations with Vietnamese ICT authorities to facilitate the administrative efforts of MIC. Moreover, she has also taken part in many projects in the fields of ICT, involved in developing IT Law, policies and master plans.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao is a member of ISC and Chief of Subcommittee on Coordination for Witfor 2009.

Member Vietnamese Association for Information Processing
 
Mr. Nguyen Long is the Secrectary General of Vietnam Association for Information Processing (VAIP) and the member of Advisory Board of National Organization Committee for Viet Nam Information Technology. Mr. Long was the founder of VAIP in 1998 and he has been the General Secrectary of VAIP up to now.

Mr. Nguyen Long graduated from Moscow University, major in Mathematics (The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) and he taught in Defence Technology University for years. He contributed to founding one of proactive IT companies in Viet Nam after the innovation time. 

Lalit Sawhney, India

Lalit Sawhney spent 18 years with the Unilever Group in India and was head-information systems at Hindustan Lever. He was also awarded the prestigious IS Man of the Year award by Computerworld in 1999, and the Fellowship of the Computer Society of India in 1996. Lalit Sawhney did his graduation in Electronics Engineering from University of Delhi and a P G Diploma in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
